Jul 9, 2009"cuando quieres" is the present tense and "cuando quieras" is the future subjunctive tense. "cuando quieras ir, me avisas" = let me know when you want to go (in the future). Listening to some spanish speakers and found that when i would expect to hear something like "quieres algo?", it sounded like "quier algo" or "quiere".

Tengo una duda, ¿cuál es la diferencia entre "lo que tú quieras" y "lo que tú quieres"? ¿a dónde quieres que vayamos hoy? (subjunctivo) o ¿a dónde quieres (nosotros) que vamos hoy?
