Divya Nadella

Divya desas are famous because the bhagavan had manifested to devotees of high order or in the places frequently visited by alwars or the ones favoured by them. Shri sai divya pooja is done for happiness, peace, prosperity, wish fulfilment and fame. So, the 11 divya desams in thirunangoor, it is believed, came to please lord shiva.

Of these, 108 kshetrams – divya desams – are considered holy by the sri vaishnavas. Andal is also known for her association with the divya desams, which are 108 sacred temples dedicated to lord vishnu in the tamil nadu region.
